CRIMSON UNDERWING LEAF MOTH (Phyllodes consobrina)
With a wing span of about 120 – 140mm, it is one of the large Noctuoid moths found in the North-eastern region of India. A prominent ‘S-shaped’ marking on the forewing is characteristic to this species; and a distinct patch of white and pink on the contrasting dark hindwing can be easily noticed with the spread wings.
